Sorry, I know I just said I wasn't blogging... but having created the blog account thing in order to add comments to my sister Char's blog, I discovered another reason why I won't blog, this being: a blog makes you feel that you have to write things that are either a). funny, b). incisive, c). clever in a politically ironic sort of way or d). just generally intelligent. I found that I could be none of these things when attempting to comment on Char's blog. In fact, the only things I could find upon which to comment were grammatical points, which just shows how anal and unfunny I really am. So I'm even more put off. However, this makes two bloggy entries now, which is worrying.

not blogging

Sorry, this is all a con. I'm not going to start blogging. Not only because I am so indiscreet and garrulous that everyone I know already knows everything I think, therefore no need for a blog, but also because all the blogs I have read (this only really includes Skelt and Char and various random bloggers on various random web searches) seem to sound rather pretentious and navel-gazing-ish. So I'm not going to join you, but it seems I need a blog-in in order to comment on Char's blogs. Which is not an opportunity I'm prepared to miss, so here I am. But this is a one-off, honest.
